Genomics and Transcriptomics

Genomics, which studies an individual’s set of genes, and transcriptomics, which analyses all types of RNA present in a particular cell at a given time, have developed enormously in recent decades, adapting and evolving thanks to technological advances. More recently, Spatial Transcriptomics or Spatial Biology has also arisen, making it possible to obtain transcriptomic profiles of thousands of targets with spatial resolution.

At Citogen we have state-of-the-art technology to conduct genomic, transcriptomic and spatial biology studies, including: massive sequencing or NGS and the nCounter and GeoMx Digital Spatial Profiler (DSP) platforms.

Our Services

Massive Sequencing (NGS)

We perform clinical exome studies by analysing coding regions (exons) of clinically relevant genes and whole exomes by examining all genome coding regions, in addition to other studies using NGS.

nCounter

We perform studies using the nCounter platform, which allows the multiplexed analysis of up to 800 RNA or protein targets without the need for amplification, cDNA conversion or library preparation.

GeoMx DSP

We offer the possibility performing studies using the GeoMx Digital Spatial Profiler platform to obtain digital gene expression spatial profiles.
